Private Charter
Reserve one of our vessels, CHRISTEEN or the IDA MAY, for a unique and private cruise among friends and family. Transform your bachelor/bachelorette party, birthday, anniversary, business function, or any other special occasion into a truly unique and memorable experience.
Christeen Price: $1400 (2.5 Hours), and each additional hour is $400. Additional service fees may apply. Max group size 24 (at least one adult on the water).
Ida May Price: $1900 (2.5 Hours), and each additional hour is $760. Additional service fees may apply. Max group size 40 (at least one adult on the water).
*No children under 3 years old; all children must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. No animals are allowed aboard.

The WaterFront Center
The WaterFront Center provides access to Oyster Bay's waters through engaging programs in recreation and education. From sailing lessons to marine science field trips, our mission is to inspire stewardship and connect the community with the natural environment.
CHRISTEEN
Christeen, a National Historic Landmark built in 1883, is the oldest oyster sloop in America still in operation. Lovingly restored, she serves as a floating classroom, offering educational programs that celebrate Oyster Bay’s rich maritime history.
IDA MAY
The Ida May is a replica of a 1920s engine-powered oyster dredge, built by skilled volunteers and donors over 12 years. Now serving as a classroom on the water, she honors Oyster Bay's oyster harvesting legacy while inspiring the next generation of stewards.
